We will begin our Fall 2008 session September 22nd with Musical Theater
Production rehearsals!! Our individual classes are set to begin
October 15th and wrap up in December!

MUSICAL THEATER PRODUCTION (all ages) (12 Sessions with additional rehearsals the week before our production in January 2009) Tuition: $300 + an additional $30 costume fee Show rehearsals are offered Mon/Tues/Thurs –at various times and ages groups from age 7 - Adult
Let’s put on a show! Our fall show will be DANCING QUEEN! (based on the movie Mamma Mia! and the music of ABBA)! Each session we present a full musical production for all ages from Itty Bitty to Teen! Multiple casts of the same show are put together to allow everyone the chance to shine- with their own line or music solo! Rehearsals are held once per week in our studio for 12 weeks. We then take a short holiday break, and reconvene after New Years for a week of rehearsals and then a big performance at the beautiful historic 450-seat STAR Theatre in Oceanside! We are one of the first groups to announce this show in Orange County! Don’t miss this awesome show that will feature professional sets, big dance numbers, full costuming and tons of fun!!
We will also offer an ADULT PRODUCTION for parents, College students and adults! Friday nights once a week from 7pm -830pm.

ITTY BITTY BROADWAY- GREASED LIGHTNING!(Ages 5 &6) (8 sessions) Tuition: $200
**Class meets Tuesdays 4pm- 5pm
Our littlest performers take the stage to bring this 50’s classic musical to the CSS Stage. Full costuming, music and lighting highlight this adorable production.

ELITE MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP (Ages 12+) (8 sessions) Tuition: $200 **Weds. 6pm
Teens love Broadway too! Each session teens rehearse and perform musical theater songs. Teen stars get to act, sing and dance while learning stage etiquette, cues, stage direction and so much more. This class is extremely fun! Plus you’ll learn from a real Broadway performer all the tricks to make your performance a WINNER!

GROUP VOICE LESSONS (ages 7-12) (8 sessions) Tuition: $200 ** Weds. 5pm
Sing, Sing a song! Learn the basics of rhythm, matching pitch, and understanding music while working on developing a more full and solid vocal sound. With the class-room setting those who love to sing, but might be a little shy will find a great way to shine with their friends! Fun exercises and music fill this class every week! No experience necessary!

PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS (ages 8 and up) BY AUDITION ONLY
For those more advanced students who can benefit from individual instruction, we are happy to offer private 30-minute vocal sessions with our CSS-SC Creative Director! These sessions are by appointment only, and can be scheduled regularly for the session, as well as one lesson at a time subject to availability. Learn vocal exercises to strengthen your voice, as well coach songs for shows/choir/auditions or just for fun!
Each 30 minute Session = $40 or $250 for 8-week session

ACTING & IMPROV 100! (Ages 7 - 13) (8 sessions) Fee: $200 **Weds. 4pm
Now you’re acting! Ongoing instruction on the acting tools used by professional artists on stage, television & film. Each class students perform in scenes from popular films, TV shows & plays working on specific tools that help build characters & enrich scenes. Yes, that sounds technical but acting is art that we make fun & fascinating! Kids also learn and perform Improv games & skits. This is an amazing tool for acting. It helps performers get out of their head (shell), build performing skills, and increase self confidence! A great class where individual attention can be paid to the growth of the performer!

Including…
KIDS ROCK! (Ages 7 - 13) “Let Me Entertain You”! Acting through song…we want our performers to learn how to sell their solos! Performers will rehearse and learn to really connect with the music and use their heart, body and soul to tell the story. Again, emphasis is on the non-verbal aspects of the performance rather than vocal beauty or technique. Musical games, exercises & improv make for a fun, fantastic class. Everyone is a soloist in this class!

COMMERCIAL WORKSHOP (Ages 7– Teen) BY INVITATION OR AUDITION ONLY
This Class is for the serious. Class meets once a week to learn basic on camera and commercial techniques. Goal is to provide students the necessary basic fundamentals to begin in the Commercial TV/Film industry. End of session performance for Agents. Representation is not guaranteed. There will be a parent meeting prior to class beginning to give more information to parents about this crazy world called “Hollywood”.
** Success rate in this class is phenomenal! 80% of the students have signed with agents in Los Angeles at the completion of the workshop! **
MASTER CLASSES (Ages 7 – Adult) Beginning January 2008, Master classes will be periodically offered to students on the weekends. These will be intensives taught by the masters of their field. See flyers at school or call for up-coming intensives. Price varies on master.
